 Text Box: The Learning Support Department   The learning support department of Victoria English School consists of a qualified and experienced learning support teacher and full time assistants. Both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are supported by the department.   A small percentage of students at VES experience difficulties with learning at some time in their school careers. These difficulties tend to be moderate. We also have a small group of children at each Key Stage who are learning English as an additional language who may sometimes need our support in order to access the curriculum effectively.   The support provided is mainly in-class support, with some withdrawal in small groups, or individually, where appropriate. We also provide additional reading support, and work alongside teachers to help with planning and delivering the curriculum to individual learners with difficulties.   Our aim is to enable all learners to experience and access a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum suitable to their needs, while helping them to improve their self confidence and developed their unlimited potential.     Fees for Learning Support - September 2006/ 2007   Initial Assessment: Dhs 250     Fees for Learning/Language Support are payable in advance each term.
